Summer Cocktails

Can you believe that summer is almost here?  So what's better for a Friday post than a few delicious summer cocktail recipes?  Not much if you ask us!  Today we are sharing a few of our favorite new recipes we've seen and why we think each cocktail is one you've gotta try!

Watermelon-Tequila Cocktail

This delicious cocktail might be a little complicated but for those of you who love tequila and watermelon, we promise, its worth all the work.  We found this delicious recipe on Food & Wine and after trying it, we knew we had to share!  Our co-founder Amanda hates blueberries so we substituted frozen raspberries instead and it was still just as delicious!

Blueberry Mint Juleps

We didn't try this one ourselves but when we see all our of friends pinning it on pinterest we figured it had to be worth adding to this list!  I mean, blueberry puree, bourbon, and mint...you can't go wrong!!!!  This cocktail is perfect for a summer party and you can check out the recipe here!!

Frozen Grape Sangria

This super simple sangria is perfect for hot days spent outside and we loved the strong grape flavor while it not being too sweet.  The recipe calls 1 3/4 lbs of frozen grapes but we also froze the apple slices as well!  Click here to check out this Country Living Recipe!

Coconut Gin And Tonic

Last but not least, we loved this unique twist on the classic Gin and Tonic that The Minimalist Baker created!  Coconut water, limes and gin really does create the perfect refreshing summer cocktail!  And did we mention is SUPER easy to make?
